We've developed an integrated commerce Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that leverages AI, designed to empower attractions like theme parks, museums, and theaters with an all-in-one solution for managing, marketing, and pricing their offerings effectively.

 

As a rapidly expanding, product-driven SaaS startup, we're on the lookout for a Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our growing company. You'll collaborate closely with a close-knit team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this industry. Our tech and product team currently consists of three technical leads, seventeen developers, three QA specialists, one designer, one product owner, and two technical support engineers. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on challenging problems with a very motivated team.

 

The Data Scientist position is available immediately. We offer a flexible work arrangement, combining remote work with some meetings with the team. Join us in driving innovation and making a difference in the world of visitor attractions.

 

What you will do

As a Data Scientist at Smeetz, you will be responsible for the success of Smeetz data & ML strategy. You will work closely with the engineering, design, sales and marketing teams to define and execute the data & ML strategy, develop new models, and improve current models.

 

Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Work on dynamic pricing model and get new ideas to improve it
  • Build accurate forecasting for customers
  • Analyze data coming from dynamic pricing and find insights
  • Build some visualization to display to our customers
  • Create a smart booking flow
  • Improve our sentiment analysis model
  • Create new dashboards with insightful plots for our clients
  • Create and Improve our data pipeline
  • Improve data warehouse
  • Maintain the dashboards, ensuring data shown is correct
  • Work in collaboration with Key Account Managers to take care of client requests and provide good knowledge about our dashboards.
  • Maintain the datasets we are using to be sure our data is still relevant

 

 

 

Requirements

  • You are a data enthusiast and feel comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team
  • You are dynamic and proactive, with an exceptional sense of responsibility, excellent organizational skills and capable of working autonomously while ensuring successful teamwork.
  • You have a higher education degree related to Data Science
  • Good knowledge in Python (PHP and Javascript are a plus)
  • Good knowledge of Machine Learning techniques
  • Very good with data visualization
  • Good knowledge of MLops on AWS
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment and demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and open-mindedness.
